Denner

Instant Response - Noble Sound

The model for our Denner series was the old recorder by Jacob Denner (Nuremberg, 1681–1735) from the Music History Museum in Copenhagen. Many recorder makers consider it to be the finest of Jacob Denner's  instruments existing today.

Our Denner impresses with its slender, elegant tone, high brilliance and balanced timbre. Its distinct solo character is unmistakable. Outstanding sound characteristics, effortless response and the ability of this first-class instrument to offer a vast potential for articulation even at high speeds are ideal prerequisites for playing virtuoso music where tempo and agility are important, such as the recorder works of Georg Philipp Telemann. The alto recorders in our Denner series leave nothing to chance, even when it comes to the most demanding requirements.

Available in boxwood and grenadilla and in the pitches A1 = 415 Hz or A1 = 442 Hz for different musical purposes. Our Denner series offers excellent instruments of outstanding manufacturing quality, with fine details and high-quality features included in the scope of delivery.
